Its all random everywhereApr 25 2008Natural Resources
Its all random everywhere. After going through the entire process I still don't know how it works. Just be true to yourself.

Get good grades and sat scores and this shouldMar 05 2008Economics
Get good grades and sat scores and this should be sufficient, more will clinch the deal.

Work hard, have extracurriculars, write a good personal essay, and be lucky!
SAT: 1440 Male
Nothing out of the worldDec 28 2007Philosophy
Nothing out of the world. Good scores and good grades, some solid extra-curriculars, the usual.

Admission depends on which of the 7 undergraduate programs you want to enroll in. Want to learn how to run a hotel? A summer or two working in one is almost required. Architect students will need a portfolio, and engineering will care more about math and science than english and history grades.

If you're just looking at Arts and Sciences (my college), though, nothing special is required.
SAT: 2310 Male

High GPA, high SAT scoresSep 11 2007Other
High GPA, high SAT scores. Show that you can handle the workload. It is said that Cornell has one of the heaviest (if not heaviest)workload out of all universities. Show that you will be able to handle it.

At Cornell you also apply directly to your department so show interest in that department/program.

Also, if you are a minority, you have a better chance of getting in. They are really pushing to diversify the campus.
SAT: 1400 Male
